Highlights will include experiencing the state-of-the-art North Building Field House. The lower level of the fieldhouse includes a 200 meter track, 4 basketball courts, 4 volleyball courts, 16 badminton courts, long jump, high jump, discus, pole vault, a 30,000 square foot synthetic turn auxiliary gym, wrestling room, dance studio, trainer’s room, public changing rooms and coach’s offices. The upper level houses a cheerleading studio, additional classroom space, a 9,000 square foot fitness facility that overlooks the field house and the athletic director’s office suite.
As we make our way to the South Building, you won’t want to miss stepping into the beautifully renovated Fine Arts Center. The center includes 9,000 square feet of remodeled space for fine arts programs and 30,000 square feet of new space built around the Mall Auditorium. The heightened ceiling and natural light enhance the new entryway and wider aisles give guests a space to congregate and view display cases filled with many awards students have won. Each of the five specialty areas – choir, band, orchestra, theater and fine arts – has their own designated space. Highlights of these new spaces include new performance and practice rooms, a black box theater, new classrooms, studio spaces and a dark room.
After the tour, we will continue the fun and gather at Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood.
